I live all the way in New Orleans East, but Canseco's has been the place for me to stop at, to pick up what I need when I'm in the area.., Especially their Muffalettas🤤 , they're the best‼️

I love the store but I really wish they have better cashier . The cashier don’t greet you or speak to you or nothing very unprofessional don’t tell you your total . When done ringing up groceries they just look at you like they don’t like the job . In also as a bagger help put the groceries in the basket . Go the extra mile sometimes. That’s a part of customer service.

The cake decorator did a beautiful job on a birthday cake that I had ordered last month. Today I went in and made a single item cash purchase. Cashiers should not ask customers if they want a receipt if they are paying cash, especially if the item isn't being bagged. It should be issued automatically. When I said yes I wanted the receipt my change was tossed at me, coins falling to the floor. He did apologize but seemed annoyed that I requested the receipt.

They have great prepared food! Quick and easy to grab for lunch or a party. I also love the newly expanded beer, wine and liquor section!
